XCMG crawler crane participates in the construction of the wind farm with the largest single unit capacity in Ethiopia
Release Date: July 13, 2022

As the wind farm with the largest single unit capacity in Ethiopia, the AYSHA project participated by XCMG XGC500-I crawler crane has a total installed capacity of 120 MW. At present, it has a power generation capacity of 40 MW. After completion, it will provide sufficient power supply for the economic construction of Addis Ababa Djibouti economic corridor.

XCMG XGC500-I adopts a large chassis design, which makes the whole machine more stable. During the construction, it overcomes the difficulties caused by the harsh natural environment such as strong fluidity of surface sand, or strong sandy wind.

In addition to Ethiopia, the wind power construction projects XCMG had participated in have covered 97% of the countries and regions along the "One Belt One Road" area, enhancing the development of global green energy.
