The full hydraulic pipe jacking equipment with minimum diameter in China Construction machinery industry, XCMG XDN400H have helped to realize the trenchless connection of the nearly 500-meter road section in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, ensuring that 85% of the local rural population and 95% of the urban residents have access to clean drinking water.

The construction process involves working through fine sand, coarse sand, silt, laterite, clay, hard clay, weathered rock, backfill layer and other strata, which puts forward high requirements for the overall performance of pipe jacking equipment.

XCMG XDN400H full hydraulic pipe jacking machine applies staged reverse jacking technology, and the minimum diameter of the starting well can be as small as 2590mm. At the same time, the hydraulic motor and reducer adopt integral mechanical seal, which has good waterproof performance, and the cutter head and jacking speed are stepless adjustable.
