Julius Nyerere, as the largest hydropower station in East Africa, with a total investment of more than 2.8 billion US dollars, had been undergoing for nearly two years. At present, the construction project is about to be the accomplished.
In this project, XCMG provided 7 truck cranes and 2 all-terrain cranes to participate in the construction. XCMG formulated customized construction plans according to the geographical conditions of the construction site, and improved the product performance at the same time; the seven XCA60_ E cranes are equipped with the world's first independent suspension technology with large-load capacity and single cross arm, which ensures that the construction progress goes well.
On the other hand, XCMG has set up a seamless service mode for the construction team in order to ensure a smooth construction progress while maintaining the quality of living and working conditions at the same time. The team was divided into two groups to carry out “relay” work, so that 9 pieces of equipment could run continuously for 3000 hours, which greatly accelerated the progress of construction.
