After nearly a month of transportation at sea, XCMG construction machinery of various categories worth nearly RMB15 million arrived in Pakistan and delivered to local customers a few days ago, which is the largest order of construction machinery placed by this country from China in recent years.
At the equipment handover ceremony, booms of the machinery stretched out towards the blue sky, with the golden color and striking blue XCMG logos shining in the sun. Excavators, loaders, road machinery, concrete machinery and other products from XCMG were lining up in a spectacular way.
The successful delivery of XCMG products in Pakistan is another achievement of XCMG’s active response to the “Belt and Road” initiative in recent years and further expansion of markets in countries and regions along the “Belt and Road”. Over the years, driven by the concepts of independent R&D and technological innovation and taking products manufactured under the concept of leading technology, durability and craftsmanship as stepping stones, XCMG has gained a good momentum in international development, and its excellent products have entered into many construction machinery markets in various countries around the world.
In the first half of 2020, due to the raging of COVID-19, the construction machinery markets worldwide fluctuated with many uncertain changes. By breaking the fixed export pattern, XCMG tried marketing innovations in an all-round way.
XCMG took online and offline channels and attached sufficient importance to both aspects in global marketing. In the first half of 2020, the total amount of export of XCMG products achieved a year-on-year increase of 14% by relying on traditional methods as well as marketing innovations such as online meetings, online marketing, online order-signing and online training.
It's learned that the construction machinery exported to Pakistan will help build Bhahsa Dam, the largest water conservancy project in Pakistan. Known as the “Three Gorges Project” in Pakistan, this dam will play an important role in strengthening water use, improving clean energy structure, and serving people's livelihood and development after completion.
