XCMG multi-function drilling rig has built walls for emergency rescue in the central Philippines
Release Date: June 16, 2022

Seawater backflow in open-pit mining areas has seriously affected coal mine operations, and XCMG multi-function drilling rig has built walls for emergency rescue.

The open pit is located on Semilala Island in the central Philippines, with hot climate and abundant rainfall. The deepest elevation is -100m. There are two major leakage points and a large amount of seawater is poured back.

According to the field data, the 12 pumping pumps do not stop day and night, but they are still unable to withstand the gushing sea water. In the face of an emergency, XCMG formulated three XCMG XMZ120 multi-functional drilling rigs, equipped with high-pressure rotary jet power heads and triple high-pressure rotary jet drill pipe drill tools independently developed by XCMG as leakage stoppage tools. After four months of concerted efforts, the leakage points in the open-pit mining area have been effectively solved.
