was released at the meeting.

 

XCMG, with a brand value of 92.397 billion,

won the title of

Top of the list of China's construction machinery industry

for eight years in a row,

Together with the State Grid and Industrial, Commercial Bank of China,

Haier and other well-known brands!

Data show that the average value of the top 500 brands in 2004 was 4.943 billion yuan, while eighteen years later, in 2021, the average value of the top 500 brands reached 55.791 billion yuan, an increase of 1,028.69%. As for XCMG, the brand value increased by 12.121 billion yuan over the previous year, an increase of 15.10% over the same period last year, ranking first in China's construction machinery industry.

 


Steve Woolgar, president of the World Brand Lab and emeritus professor of marketing at Oxford, said: “Brands are the image of a country and I hope more people in the world can learn the story of China through Chinese brands. In the past 15 years, I have witnessed the rapid growth of Chinese brands such as State Grid, China Resources and XCMG, some of which have strong world influence.”

Li Ge, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee of XCMG, had a dialogue with many big names at the press conference. “We define ‘exploring engineering science and technology to provide solutions for global engineering construction and sustainable development’ as the brand mission, and make unremitting efforts for it.” she said at the press conference, “Today, the XCMG brand is favored by 187 countries and regions around the world, and the construction machinery brand, like China’s high-speed rail, has become a bright business card for Chinese equipment manufacturing’s ‘Going Out’.”
