A few days ago, the first T-beam of a railway in West Africa was erected, marking the first time that a local bridge has been constructed as per Chinese standards. During the construction process, XCMG equipment performed eye-catchingly, showing its remarkable charm.

The 135-km-long railway, built by a Chinese-funded company in the local, is the first modern freight railway in West Africa. It is expected to open in June 2021.

When completed, the project will drive the local modern railway, guarantee the transportation of bauxite mining enterprises along the route, and promote the economic and social development of the entire African region. 

It was the rainy season when the bridge was erected. Since the road was muddy and slippery, it’s more difficult for the construction of the overall project. However, the project team overcame many difficulties. By building the foundation and platform, beams and columns, they successfully completed the construction task.
