Chang’e 4 Probe landed on the back of the moon

On January 3, 2019, Chang’e 4 Probe landed successfully on the back of the moon and transmitted back the world’s first moon back photo taken in the short distance via Queqiao Relay Satellite.

Though it appears to be small-step progress to land on the back of the moon, the Chinese astronaut workers have made arduous efforts.

Beijing-Zhangjiakou High-speed Rail was completed

On June 12, 2019, China completed construction of Beijing-Zhangjiakou High-speed Rail, the first intelligent one in the country. The rail is 174km long with automatic-driving speed at 350km/h. Also as the world’s first intelligent high-speed rail, it functions as the “business card for the era”.

Daxing International Airport was put into operation

On September 25, 2019, Daxing International Airport was put into operation, taking only five years from the commencement to up-and-running. It makes many records, e.g., the world’s largest single terminal, and China’s first airport with two-level elevated bridge, taking a place among the New Seven Wonders of the World.

Many technologies used in the entire process ranging from design to construction represent the wisdom and craftsmanship of the constructors. Taking four years to be completed, the project looks like a golden phoenix about to fly into the sky.

Xue Long 2 icebreaker first navigated to the Antarctic

On October 15, 2019, Xue Long 2 icebreaker made its maiden voyage. As China’s first independently-built icebreaker for scientific studies in the Antarctic, Xue Long 2 has 60-day endurance period and 20,000 nautical-mile range. It is able to navigate continuously in the 1.5m-thick ice environment. Nowadays, China boasts two icebreakers for studies in the Antarctic.

This is the power of China!

This is the miracle made by China!

China, cheer for 2020!
