A delegation led by Mark Davies, Vice President of Global Purchasing of Rio Tinto, paid a special visit to XCMG and signed the contract on October 30th.

Wang Min said, as a leading enterprise in Chinese construction machinery, XCMG has stepped up its international process in recent years. This cooperation with Rio Tinto is significant for XCMG to explore its international high-end market. He hopes that Rio Tinto could provide valuable opinions and suggestions in the subsequent cooperation.
Mark Davies pointed out that China is the largest market of Rio Tinto. He hopes that Rio Tinto and XCMG could establish a good partnership for their efficient and high-quality development through the signing of the contract since both sides have already cooperated many years ago.
The delegation also visited XCMG Mining Machinery, XCMG Earth-moving, XCMG Road Machinery, XCMG Research Institute and XCMG Truck in a row. They were impressed by the bright plant, refined management, modern production line and strong R&D capacity.
Mark Davies showed that they knew more about XCMG through this visit. XCMG’s unmanned driving and other intelligent technologies with high grade and precision deeply impressed every one of the delegation. They believe that XCMG mining equipment will change and lead the global supply market of mining machinery industry in the near future.
He also mentioned that this signing just marked a new start of cooperation between both sides. Rio Tinto and XCMG will conduct deeper cooperation and exchange for mutual benefits and development.
It’s learned that through the signing with Rio Tinto, XCMG has broken the monopoly of international mining machinery manufacturers, and it is gradually growing into a mainstream supplier of large mining machinery in the world. XCMG will march in the global market with the manufacturing concept of “leading technology, everlasting products” and large-scale, intelligent and complete set of competitive products.
