Recently, the annual meeting of the Brazilian Army was held at the base of AMAN Military Academy in Rio. More than 300 people, including 11 generals and Minister of Brazilian National Infrastructure, attended the meeting. Wang Yansong, Vice President of XCMG Machinery, was also present at the meeting upon invitation. Two high-profile equipment of XCMG Brazil, namely "Steel Mantis" ET120 walking excavator and "Black Giant" ZL50GV police road wrecker, made their debut and electrified all attendees. It was worthy mentioning that as its first appearance in Brazil, the stunning performance of ET120 aroused high attention and XCMG leading technologies represented by it were highly appreciated.
Tarcisio, former General of the Brazilian army and incumbent Minister of Brazilian Ministry of National Infrastructure, praised XCMG walking excavator as multi-functional equipment with strong performance, and hoped that the equipment could be widely used in construction projects in Brazilian military in the next step.

"Steel Mantis", making its debut in Brazil and thrilling all people with stunning performance
XCMG ET120 walking excavator put on a great show and presented such amazing demos of "simulation of excavation, simulation of horizontal driving on ramp, simulation of driving with outrigger against obstacles, turning and display of maximum excavation height". Each action won roars of applause from the audience. When these difficult actions were completed via a small remote control device, the military officers were amazed, thumbing up and praising the leading technologies of XCMG products.
XCMG ET120 walking excavator is applicable to operations in mountainous, woodland, gully, swamp, high altitude, cold and other complex terrain environment. It boasts significant advantages in all-terrain adaptability, and helps accomplish the tasks of earthquake relief and life saving. "Black Giant", attracting attention with a cool gesture and tailor-made craft
XCMG ZL50GV police road wrecker is a model newly developed by XCMG. It is applicable to road obstacle clearing. With its high speed and efficiency, road obstacles can be cleared quickly. In consideration of frequent strikes and chaotic public security in Brazil, the Brazilian police need such kind of obstacle clearing equipment to help maintain public security. XCMG police road wrecker is specially designed for this purpose.
This product once appeared in the 12th Latin American Aerospace and Defense Show (LAAD) in Rio this April, the largest and most important show in Latin America. The Deputy Commander of Brazilian Corps visited the exhibition stand of XCMG and exchanged opinions. Dressed in black and grey, it was so cool and thus got nicknamed by locals "black giant".
"Black Giant" has six functional characteristics. 1) bullet proof: it is proved in rigorous testing to meet NATO grade-I bullet-proof requirements; 2) water spraying: the hydraulic driven water spraying system, can not only reduce road temperature, but disperse the crowd; 3) patrol: there are patrol channels on three sides of the cab, and the anti-skid design of these channels facilitates the personnel on duty to move quickly on the vehicle; 4) alarm: the vehicle is equipped with alarm buzzer, which has eight alarm sound modes and on-board public address function; 5) the vehicle is equipped with multi-functional tools for shoveling/forking and loading of obstacles; 6) high temperature protection: in view of operation particularity by the road wrecker, all rubber tubes and air cylinders are protected against high temperature to ensure that they can be driven in high temperature or even fire area.
At this promotion meeting, "Steel Mantis" and "Black Giant", the high-tech products representing XCMG concept of "Leading Technology, Everlasting Products", made a deep impression on the Brazilian military, laying a foundation for further cooperation with Brazilian Army and expanding influence of XCMG products in Brazil.
