In the wind power plant in Shanxi, a golden XCMG QAY1200A all-terrain crane was stretching its arm to stably hoist the engine room of wind turbine to the air. 

The wind power installation project used the special working conditions with great difficulty, which was greatly different from the working condition using main arm hoisting. The 2.0MW wind turbine’s actual parameters reach the international standard of 2.5MW wind turbine. Either the hoisting height and engine-room weight posed great challenge against the XCMG QAY1200A all-terrain crane. 

In the process of installing wind turbines, the most important is the hoisting of engine room. The 60-ton part needs to be hoisted to 90-meter height. Even the slightest mistake might cause the great damage and loss.  

“The crane parameters are normal. Hoisting starts”. After the order was made, the engine room was hoisted slowly, turned stably and reached the installation position before it precisely rested on the 99 tightening bolts. The installation was finalized within only two hours.
