Fragrance of sunshine, trees and grass has not taken off and April is the heaven in the world. On April 10, with a theme of "win-win cooperation", a delivery ceremony of the first batch of rescuing and maintenance equipment for Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge main work was jointly held by Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Authority and China Railway Material Group in the square in front of the bridge. 

China Railway Material Group finished delivery ceremony by joining hands with Chinese construction machinery manufacturers - XCMG, Zoomlion and Guangdong Yuehai, and Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Authority. It is reported that this batch of rescuing and maintenance equipment for Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge main work was 100% domestically manufactured, showing power of "Made in China" in world-class construction machinery.

This delivery ceremony was grand. XCMG, as the largest Chinese equipment manufacturing enterprise, undoubtedly became the biggest highlight of these complete sets of products. XCMG 6 anti-collision guard trucks, 2 aerial work trucks, 2 large-tonnage wreckers, 2 road washing trucks, 1 lorry-mounted crane, 1 small sized loader and other high-end complete sets of equipment are placed orderly. XCMG equipment and Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge added radiance and beauty to each other, and formed a beautiful scenery line. Bridge tower of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge in “Chinese knot” form

Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge is 55 km in length, the longest cross-sea bridge in the world, and the cross-sea bridge engineering with the most complicated technology, highest construction requirements and standards, and the largest construction difficulty in Chinese traffic history. It has drawn a great stroke in great progress of China's rise and has great significance in economic society integration of Hong Kong, Zhuhai and Macau, promotion of peaceful development cross-Straits, and boost of peaceful reunification of the motherland.

In December 2017, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Authority publicly called for bids of first batch of rescuing and maintenance equipment for Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge main work. Great construction difficulty and high cost put forward strict technical requirements for vehicle technical indexes, performance level, and anti-corrosion abilities. XCMG, as the largest construction machinery manufacturing enterprise in China, met construction requirements depending on world-advanced technical strength and optimal complete set of solutions and showed alliance between giants of "Created in China" and "Intelligent manufacturing in China".

During construction of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, XCMG used more than 500 equipment, including 300 aerial work platforms, 32 crawling cranes, 30 wheel cranes, 6 large-tonnage loaders, lorry-mounted cranes, bridge inspection vehicles, pump trucks, and mixing plants, to support the construction. 300 XCMG aerial work platforms accounted for more than 80% of aerial work platforms of the whole project, greatly ensured operation security of main work and security check projects for Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, won great evaluation from the construction party depending on product advantages and efficient services embodied in the project, laid good foundation for later cooperation, and improved XCMG's popularity and reputation in high-end markets.

XCMG firstly developed anti-collision guard trucks in China.

This time, 14 sets of XCMG high-end equipment will serve road rescue, maintenance, and matching operation of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge by set. The market share of XCMG lorry-mounted cranes reached 57% in 2017 and firmly ranked the 1st in the industry, that of aerial work trucks ranked the 2nd, and that of environmental sanitary equipment ranked the 3rd. Large-tonnage wreckers were exported to high-end markets in Japan throughout the year and won a position in the domestic market with strategic cooperation with Guangdong YUEHAI. Products mentioned above are all special vehicles.
