On March 12, at the world's largest manufacturing base, the golden key of QAY650 all terrain crane was delivered to a customer in North Africa by the Vice President of XCMG. This crane will assist in the construction projects along the Belt and Road regions. This delivery sets an export record of China’s largest wheel cranes.

XCMG wheel cranes have maintained a market share of over 50% for a long time in domestic sales and ranked 1st in the industry for 14 consecutive years; crawler cranes have ranked the 1st in the industry for 6 consecutive years; tower cranes continuously improve in market share and are counted as one of the best in the industry. 100-tonnage all terrain cranes are exported to European and American high-end markets and 1,000-tonnage crawler cranes are exported to assist in construction projects along the Belt and Road regions. XCMG continuously makes breakthroughs for the “going global” of China’s construction machinery industry.
The world's largest manufacturing base of XCMG
I. From 1,250-tonnage crawler cranes to 650-tonnage all terrain cranes, XCMG has marched into global markets.
Even to this day, only a few countries master the production techniques of 1,000-tonnage cranes. In 2016, export of XCMG 1,250-tonnage crawler cranes caused a sensation in the industry and at that time the global crane market focused on China. Industry participants at home and abroad thought that Chinese cranes would take the first position in the global crane market sooner or later. At present, China has mastered world's highest-level crane technologies. Advantaged conditions of China's social and economic development and great domestic demand promote rapid development of Chinese crane industry.
In the past five years, the “Belt and Road” Initiative has gone into reality from its blueprint and XCMG has entered into "rooting" and "intensive farming" from "planning layout". XCMG cranes have become the first choice in Africa, West Asia, North Africa and Asia Pacific markets depending on superior product performance, perfect after-sales service system and extensive customer praise. The exported 650-tonnage all terrain crane is the largest tonnage all terrain crane exported from China. The market pattern that the global crane market is monopolized by European and American countries has been broken. Power of China is gradually drawing attention of the whole world.
II. XCMG’s confidence originates from decades of years' technology accumulation
XCMG continuously made breakthroughs in products and technologies since first China’s wheel crane was developed in 1963. "We need to create greater value for customers and establish a solid foundation for Chinese cranes to become the first in the word.”
"Ten years ago, XCMG completely replaced imported cranes, broke monopoly of transnational corporations in the international market, and made China to become the 3rd country that could independently develop and manufacture 1,000-tonnage super traveler cranes after Germany and America.” In the following development history, XCMG continued history glory, accepted periodic industry tests, and insisted making great efforts. More and more large-scale all terrain cranes with highest technical content came from XCMG.
Birth of XCMG G-generation cranes in 2016 had completely overturned transformation in the global crane industry. A dozen types of G-generation crane products, including 8-tonnage and 1,000-tonnage cranes, technology platforms, core technologies, core components, energy conservation, intelligence, humanization, etc. were comprehensively developed. 15 key technologies with highest industry standards, such as "intelligent cantilever crane", were overcome. 6 of these 15 key technologies are firstly developed in the industry. When development of the macro economy and industry are most turbulent and floundering, G-generation R&D station stood at the start of "Made in China 2025" national development strategy.

III. Most mature super large tonnage cranes in the world
Super large tonnage crane of more than 500-tonnage is called the "Aircraft Carrier" in the construction machinery industry. Large dimensions, complex components, long production cycles and super-high technical thresholds make many manufacturers in the world to be prohibitive.
Since the first XCMG 500-tonnage crane appeared in Bauma China in 2008, XCMG has developed fast in the super crane filed in the following 10 years. During this period, wind power construction, large scale petrochemical, bridge construction, etc. developed at an unparalleled speed, QAY650 born at the right moment finds a favorable position for the use of its skills and becomes the pillar of Chinese large-scale hoisting. Owing to severe tests under various complicated working conditions, QAY650 has been continuously upgraded and grown into a super tonnage crane with the most inventories and mature technologies in the global market.
IV. Stunning a world stage, XCMG cranes show "Pillars of a Great Power" to the world.
XCMG is the first enterprise that has the international view and implements the internationalization strategy in China’s construction machinery. With several years of "intensive farming", XCMG has established a comparatively perfect sales service network, exported products to 178 countries and regions, and ranked the industry first in product gross export. In recent two years, XCMG's export to countries along the Belt and Road increases greatly and XCMG crane products are sold globally based on stability and reliability. At present, XCMG cranes have been the first choice in Asia Pacific, West Asia, North Africa, Central Asia, Africa, America, etc., and entered high-end markets in Germany, Holland, Spain, Poland, etc. A foreign customer proudly declared: "Our tens of cranes are all from XCMG” several times.
At present, facing opportunities from the global market, XCMG will persist in innovation, produce "Leading Technology, Everlasting Products", and highlight strength and advantages of China’s cranes in global competition.
