Recently, XCMG walking excavators have successfully won over RMB 100 million orders by virtue of strong operation function, excellent quality and excellent service, and have created the biggest batch transactions of XCMG walking excavators.

As the leading enterprise of national construction machinery, XCMG has continuously stepped up the research on the walking compound multi-functional disaster relief equipment. In 2010, the ET110 walking excavator caused an industry sensation in the Bauma Show and won the Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress. Later XCMG undertook the “Walking Compound Multi-functional Disaster Relief Equipment” Project of National 863 Program and passed technical acceptance. XCMG has been increasing R&D input and put the globally advanced walking hydraulic excavators such as ET110, ET111 and ET80 into operation through nearly 10 years of development and refinement, and gained more than 30 patents of invention.

On December 12, 2017, General Secretary Xi Jinping visited XCMG and watched the performance of XCMG walking excavator with great interest. XCMG is powerful and competent to provide the first-class institutions with the first-class and high-end equipment to realize the powerful military dream and Chinese dream.

XCMG walking excavator can use the special chassis of multiple degrees of freedom to travel in the high and cold place, high altitude, steep hill, and marshland like in flat ground; it also has a very strong adaptability to extreme temperature, it can work in -40℃ and help to fulfill the tasks of earthquake relief and saving lives. It is a model of the smart manufacturing of Chinese construction machinery and equipment. China is one of the only five countries in the world and the only country in the Asia-Pacific region that has the capability to produce such equipment. The product successfully challenged on the stage of Impossible Challenge held by CCTV in 2016 to climb the 4-meter high platform, which became famous for China’s smart manufacturing on world stage.
