On September 24, the Korean International Construction Machinery Show, a biennial event, had its grand opening in KINTEX, the Korean international exhibition center. XCMG, as the only Chinese participant, debuted herself in an atmosphere of fashion but simplicity, demonstrating a rising Chinese enterprise and also announcing its expansion in Korea’s market.
As Korea's largest professional international event in machinery industry, the show, under the energetic promotion by the Korean National Machinery Manufacturing Association (KNMMA), brought 300 exhibitors from more than 20 countries and regions.
All along, South Korea, as a high-end market, has a higher expectation on import products. The successful market access of the crawler cranes in recent years did lay the root for XCMG to this exhibition. The four-day show, XCMG and its local exclusive agent of crawler cranes, gathered the local construction machine dealers, builders, rental store owners, as well as KNMMA’s member businesses into a couple of show trips for penetration of XCMG’s brand influence. During the exhibition, many visitors from Japan, Russia, India, Thailand, Malaysia and so on stopped at the XCMG’s booth and collected its brochures, witnessing that XCMG as a focus in this show made a great attraction.
