In the northern part of China, XCMG milling machines are working on the "grassland road" located at the edge of Xilingol Grassland.

It is known that the road has a total length of 132.7km and running through 8 regions with an average elevation of 1400m. The "prairie road" had been completed as early as 2019. However, due to the low local temperature, overwhelming sunshine and strong wind with little rain, some sections of road have cracked to varying degrees. This project is designated to carry out repair work for the each specific problem and issue on the road.

The "grassland road" has an abrupt slope, with slope angle up to 30 °, which is somehow testing the traveling ability and milling ability of the milling machine. XCMG XM200KII has hydraulic differential anti-skid system and two anti-skid forms; the split-type rubber track shoe, with strong grasping ability, can improve the friction under the condition of steep slope and effectively avoid slipping. The four turning modes can perfectly adapt to the winding and narrow country roads.
